In the mid-1990s, Tibor Szemes, FX Pichler, and Manfred Tement joined forces to launch an extraordinary project. Inspired by top French wines and driven by their shared passion for red wine, they envisioned creating an outstanding Austrian red wine that would combine their expertise with Burgenland's best vineyards. Their goal was to produce a premium red wine of international renown and to make "red wine made in Austria" known worldwide. In 1998, after two years of maturation, they presented the first Arachon T.FX.T from the 1996 vintage—a milestone for Austrian red wines.
