The careful processing of the grapes begins with separate fermentation in small steel tanks to preserve the characteristic characteristics of each grape variety. After alcoholic fermentation, malolactic fermentation also takes place in steel tanks. The wine ages for ten months, partly in barriques previously used for Ornellaia wines and partly in cement tanks. This process promotes an ideal balance between the tannin structure and the expression of the fruit, making Le Volte dell' Ornellaia a superbly balanced wine.
Taster note:
Purple-red in the glass. On the nose, it displays intense, fruity aromas of ripe cherries and blackberries, accompanied by black pepper. On the palate, it's full-bodied, lush, fresh and fruity, with soft tannins. A long, persistent finish.

Ideal with lamb dishes such as braised lamb, lamb curry and lamb shoulder, where it perfectly complements the rich flavors .
